Meet our Committee for 2012/13 below.
Most recent Previous Past Presidents include Petra Voniatis, Laura Shimili, John Craddock, Gray Standen, Sonia Aste, Dorothea Stuart and Ian Harrison. Dorothea Stuart and Ian Harrison have both been Area Governors supporting all the clubs in West London. Andrew Klimaytys, a long term member of Riverside Communicators and former President has taken many roles over the years. These include being Division B Governor (responsible for all the clubs in London).

CHRIS HAYES, President
The President is responsible for the general supervision and operation of Riverside Communicators, chairing meetings and leading the Committee in planning and accomplishing club responsibilities and goals.

ANNE FEENEY, Vice President – Education
The VPE plans successful meetings, ensures that roles are filled and prepares the programme. The VPE also keeps track of the progress of members’ speeches.

Glen Savage, Vice President – Membership & Mentoring
The VPM&M plans, organises and implements an on-going marketing effort to maintain and/or increase the Club membership. This involves encouraging guests to join and motivating existing members to stay. The VPM&M also coordinates our mentoring programme which encourage members to become mentors for new members and support each others a mentors for more experienced members.

DOROTHEA STUART
Vice President Public Relations
The VPPR develops, implements and administers a programme that maintains a positive image of Toastmasters for all members, guests and the general public. The VPPR is responsible for internal and external public relations for the club, with the ultimate goal of attracting the maximum number of guests to meetings.

KELLY DAI, Sectretary/Treasurer
The Treasurer keeps track of the Club’s finances and pays the bills. The Treasurer also pays members’ dues to Toastmasters’ Headquarters.
The Secretary keeps the club correspondence and files and takes minutes of meetings, making sure that decisions are carried out.

Philip Corless, Sergeant at Arms
The SAA sets up the room for meetings and keeps the club equipment in order. In addition, the SaA ensures meetings start on time, looks after visiting officials, collects and counts votes and helps with the running of club contests.

PETRA JAKUBEKOVA, Immediate Past President
The IPP provides guidance and serves as a resource to club officers and members. The IPP assists in the preparation of the Club Success Plan, promotes Riverside’s efforts to become a Distinguished Club and attends all Committee meetings, having an active voice in all decisions made.
